Turkmenistan will introduce a system of interdepartmental electronic information exchange

The system of interdepartmental electronic information exchange will be introduced in Turkmenistan. Mammetkhan Chakiev, Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, reported on the work carried out in this direction by the Turkmensvyaz agency at a government meeting today, the Watan information program of the Turkmen television reported.

As reported, on the basis of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in our country, as well as in order to implement the Law of Turkmenistan "On Electronic Government", a project was signed between the "Turkmensvyaz" agency and UNDP "Promoting the implementation of a pilot system of interdepartmental electronic information exchange in Turkmenistan ".

The project is aimed at developing and launching systems for interdepartmental electronic information exchange and electronic document management and connecting a number of departments of the country to them, as well as training specialists in this field, taking into account international experience.

After listening to the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that the modernization of the activities of state government bodies, the introduction of an interdepartmental electronic information exchange system would contribute to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development programs, including the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy, and gave relevant instructions in this direction .
