The first unmanned electric ferry set sail in Stockholm
The first unmanned electric ferry set sail in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Thus, the city became the first in the world to use such technology.
From June 12, the MF Estelle, created by Torghatten, will run regularly on short routes between the islands of Stockholm.
Now the captain is monitoring the automation that controls the ferry's maneuvers. But in the future, Torghatten plans to make the vessel completely autonomous, without the need for human presence.
