Turkmen-Pakistan cooperation in the field of science and education is developing

On April 28, 2023, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan A.Movlamov met with the rector of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad Javed Mahmood Bukhari to discuss cooperation in the field of science, education and research between Turkmenistan and the NUST University.

During the meeting, the Turkmen side informed the rector about the foreign and domestic policy of Turkmenistan and the socio-economic development of the country. Particular emphasis was placed on the city of Arkadag, which is being built on the basis of the concept of a "smart" city at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

For the further development of scientific and educational cooperation, the parties agreed on the importance of establishing links between higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and NUST University.
