The 11th China–Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in China

​From October 25 to 28, 2024, the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in Yingchuan City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

At the opening, Shen Yueyue, Deputy Chairman of the National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Council of China, Chairman of the SCO Chinese Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, made a welcoming speech. The ceremony was also attended by the heads of the Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, heads of delegations from Central Asian countries, including representatives of diplomatic missions, business associations, universities and enterprises, and others.

In his speech, Advisor to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People's Republic of China B.Klychmamedov stressed that balanced, environmentally oriented economic development is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan's state policy. In this context, the diplomat spoke about Turkmenistan's environmental initiatives, including the successful implementation of digital and green technologies in the construction of the "smart" city of Arkadag.

Various events took place within the framework of the Forum, including a photo exhibition, joint tree planting on the China-Central Asia Friendship Alley, and a parallel forum on regional cooperation.

Following the results of the Forum, the "Initiative of the 11th China–Central Asia Cooperation Forum" was announced.
