Turkmenistan delegation studies experience of Belarusian UNESCO chairs

A delegation of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO visited Belarus, Belarus24.by reports. The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, was aimed at studying the experience of Belarusian organizations within the UNESCO structure.

During the visit, special attention was paid to familiarization with the activities of UNESCO departments and clubs in Belarus, their participation in international projects and programs. The Turkmen delegation studied Belarusian practices in the field of school self-government, civic-patriotic education, cultural development, environmental education and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for joint projects, paying particular attention to youth policy and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage under the auspices of UNESCO.
