Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom discussed important areas of bilateral cooperation

On October 31, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Commonwealth Affairs and Development of the United Kingdom, MP Stephen Doughty in a videoconference format.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, as well as the regional and international agenda were discussed.
The social sphere was called an important component of interstate relations. In this context, the diplomats confirmed the positive cooperation in the field of culture and education, in particular, in the field of learning English in Turkmenistan.
