Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation with Mongolia

​The Turkmen-Mongolian Business Forum was held in Ashgabat, designed to promote the development of business ties between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, healthcare, transport and logistics, agriculture and processing industry.

The forum was attended by representatives of various ministries and departments of the two countries, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as heads of private companies from both sides.

As it was emphasized, as a result of the successful implementation under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of the large-scale reforms initiated by the Hero-Arkadag, Turkmenistan has become a country with a powerful economy. The evidence of this is the achievement of progress in all sectors, as well as the improvement of the standard of living of our people.

It was noted that today there are great opportunities for the development of Turkmen-Mongolian relations in the agro-industrial complex. Fundamental transformations are being carried out in the agro-industrial complex of our country, the modernization of the industry and the introduction of innovative technologies and modern scientific achievements into its work are being carried out.

The participants of the business forum discussed other promising areas of bilateral cooperation. Along with the intensification of trade and economic cooperation, special attention is paid to the exchange of experience. Representatives of Mongolian business structures stressed the importance of establishing direct contacts between private companies of the two countries.

In addition, the possibilities of implementing joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy were considered. Speakers from the Mongolian side reported on the positive impact of a reliable legislative framework of Turkmenistan on ensuring the effective work of foreign partners in the country.

Thanks to the constructive initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag, today, under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, work continues on the creation of import-substituting industries, increasing the export potential of the Motherland by increasing the range of products in great demand on the world market.

The participants of the meeting stressed the need for mutual exchange of experience in order to introduce highly efficient advanced technologies.

The parties expressed confidence that the current business forum would give momentum to the development of Turkmen-Mongolian relations.
