New power plants opened in Turkmenistan

On the day dedicated to celebrating workers in the construction and industrial sectors, a new power plant was inaugurated in the Etrek etrap of the Balkan velayat.
The "Etrek" power plant, with a capacity of 220 kV, is equipped with modern technology from renowned global manufacturers. During its construction, significant attention was given to environmental standards. Turkmenistan is committed to addressing ecological issues responsibly while executing large-scale regional and international energy projects.
Additionally, on the same day, the "Bagyr" power plant, with a capacity of 110 kV, was commissioned in Ashgabat.
