On November 5, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a large-scale International Conference "Construction, Industry and Energy of Turkmenistan" – CIET 2024, which began on November 3

The key events of the final day were the fifth thematic session "Technological innovations and training of highly qualified specialists for the construction, industrial and energy sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan", the awarding ceremony of the forum participants and a press conference.

The final meeting of the international conference was attended by students of specialized universities of the country, faculty and representatives of foreign companies. The speakers here drew attention to the tasks defined in the "National Program of socio-economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052" in the new era of the Revival of a powerful state, and spoke in detail about the work carried out in the country to train educated young professionals and qualified personnel. They also discussed successful methods of implementing the concepts of transition to twelve-year secondary general education, the development of a digital education system, improving the teaching of foreign languages, as well as methods of teaching disciplines of natural science and precision profiles.

Practical training plays an important role in the training of qualified specialists. Therefore, ample opportunities are being created for future specialists, especially those who will work in the construction, industrial and energy sectors, to get acquainted with the activities of manufacturing enterprises. Foreign partners are also actively involved in this area. The speakers at the meeting gave specific examples. The center for repair and maintenance of power equipment in the Buzmein district of Ashgabat, put into operation, is equipped with the most modern equipment. Here, specialists undergo special training before starting work. The training courses organized in the USA and Malaysia are highly effective.

After the meeting, diplomas and awards were presented to the participants of the international exhibition and conference. 31 companies were awarded diplomas for their active participation in the exhibition. Within the framework of the international conference, 35 companies were also awarded in four nominations: "For achievements in the energy sector", "For achievements in the construction sector", "For achievements in the field of innovation", "For achievements in the field of consulting".

The press conference held following the results of the multi-industry exhibition and conference provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the significance of the international forum, the decisions taken at it, contracts concluded, new investment projects, as well as ask questions to the forum participants.

All participants of the international forum are united by one goal – to make a joint contribution to the development, peace and security of the world. An economic system that unites industries such as construction, industry and energy is the basis for achieving this goal.
