An international scientific and practical conference "Smart City: management technologies, digital, smart and AI technologies, security, economy" will be held in Ashgabat

On November 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system, at which key tasks of the country's socio-economic development were discussed, drafts of a number of documents were considered, as well as some other issues.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B.Orazdurdiyeva informed about the preparations for the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Smart City: management technologies, digital, smart and AI technologies, security, economy".

As noted, in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, our people live a happy life, as evidenced by the city of Arkadag, which has no analogues in the region.

In this regard, it was reported that at the international exhibition "World Smart City Expo 2024", held on September 4 this year in the Republic of Korea, the city of Arkadag was awarded three awards: the Grand Prix "For outstanding achievements in the field of smart city", "Foreign Smart City", "For a great contribution to the World Exhibition "World Smart Community Expo 2024".

Currently, together with foreign IT specialists, scientists, professors and teachers, modern practices related to the development of smart home, city and Internet of Things technologies, their management, and cybersecurity are constantly being studied.

In order to carry out work in this area on a systematic basis, as well as to disseminate national experience and consistently implement the smart City concept, it is proposed to hold an international scientific and practical conference "Smart City: management Technologies, digital, smart and AI Technologies, security, on December 18 at the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan economics".

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the great importance attached to the introduction of digital systems and innovative technologies in all sectors of the country's economy, creating opportunities for developing cooperation with foreign scientists and specialists in this field.

In this regard, the Head of state supported the proposal to hold an international scientific and practical conference and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out appropriate work on its organized holding.
