A NEW TEXTBOOK HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

In the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state, thanks to the initiatives of Hero Arkadag, the successful continuation of his efforts by our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, has led to the expansion of foreign language education in our country. As a result, significant work is being carried out in this area.

In order to modernize the education system in Turkmenistan, several documents have been adopted, including the “Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages in Turkmenistan,” which serves as a key principle for enhancing and improving the quality of foreign language teaching. This aims to ensure the teaching of foreign languages at every level of education in line with national and international innovative practices.

In our wonderful era, the publication of new textbooks provides young generations with greater opportunities to study foreign languages more deeply and develop language skills. Recently, a new textbook for the 11th grade of general secondary schools in Turkmenistan, titled “English Language (Second Foreign Language)” (authors: N. Öwezova, R. Soýunova, M. Allaberdiyeva), has been published. This textbook is based on modern didactic principles of teaching and education, effectively incorporating advanced methods and best practices in foreign language teaching.

The new 11th-grade textbook on “English Language (Second Foreign Language)” will offer wide opportunities for enhancing students' skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English, in accordance with the approved curriculum.
