Turkmenistan Expands International Cooperation

The III International Forum "Commonwealth of Fashion" opened at the Tauride Palace in Saint Petersburg, gathering more than 1,500 participants from CIS countries, including Turkmenistan, and for the first time, from the Republic of Angola.
Over two days, participants will discuss the development of the fashion industry, government and investment programs, innovations, personnel issues, and the influence of cultural traditions on modern trends. Turkmenistan will showcase its unique national clothing style, rooted in its traditional textile production heritage.
The forum’s program includes plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, and exhibitions. Deputy Chair of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Inna Svyatenko, emphasized the forum's importance for strengthening intercultural ties and fostering international cooperation. As part of the event, about 20 agreements are expected to be signed between industry associations and enterprises.
