Professional Development of Educators within the Framework of Cooperation Between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation

From November 18 to 26, 2024, the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the country, is holding professional development courses for educators from Turkmen educational institutions. The courses are conducted by experienced specialists and department heads from Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University.

The primary goal of the program is to implement the Cooperation Agreement between the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, which was signed during the international scientific conference “Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State” held from October 9 to 10, 2024.

During the professional development courses, participants study modern educational technologies, ways to adapt them to the conditions of Turkmenistan’s national education system, and share advanced practices accumulated in the country’s general educational institutions. This is done in line with the implementation of the educational policy developed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and successfully continued by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The program includes both theoretical and practical components. In lectures, Russian specialists share the latest scientific achievements in the field of pedagogy, discuss modern approaches to organizing the educational process, and the use of digital technologies. The practical part of the course involves simulating real educational situations and applying innovative methods in practice. This event represents another step in strengthening educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

As the key educational platform in the country, the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan plays an important role in integrating international experience into the educational process. The participation of specialists from Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University highlights the mutual interest of both countries in developing cooperation in the field of education.

Teachers participating in the course have noted the high practical value of the materials presented. "Thanks to these courses, we have a unique opportunity to master modern pedagogical approaches that will help us better prepare our students for the challenges of the times," emphasized one participant, Gulbahar Asadullayeva, a Russian language and literature teacher at secondary school No. 24 in Turkmenabad, Lebap province.

Specialists from the Russian Federation also noted the high level of training of Turkmen educators and expressed hope for continued cooperation. Educational interaction with international partners allows Turkmen educators to stay informed about the latest global trends, enhance their qualifications, and develop their professional skills. The professional development courses organized within this cooperation create a solid foundation for further improving the education system in the country and preparing competitive personnel.
