Creative competition was held

In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, our talented needlewomen continue the noble work of preserving the tradition of mastery of the centuries-old Turkmen art of embroidery and patterns, national clothing and decoration. And needlework has been and remains the work of the best hereditary craftswomen, who pay great attention to the preservation of traditional ornaments. At the same time, great efforts are being made to educate the younger generation on the basis of preserving our national moral values. It is very important to educate young people in the spirit of respect for the national heritage, love for honor, work and knowledge. Under the wise leadership of the esteemed President, the state creates all the conditions for the prosperous life of young people, their harmonious development, receiving a good education, so that our youth are worthy successors to the principles of the patriotism of their ancestors.

Inspired by the wide opportunities created, the creative competition entitled “Needlework – Heritage of the People”, among female students to perform national embroidery (printed embroidery, handmade embroidery, kurte, don, skullcap embroidery, knitting aladzha and socks), transmitted in the Turkmen people from generation to generation, was held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The creative competition is organized at a high level by the Women’s Organization of the institute. In the course of the competition the musical group of the institute “Kuvvat” performed several songs.

The participants of the event expressed their boundless gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who is leading great deeds in the name of preserving and enhancing the cultural heritage of our people for the future generation and disseminating it in the world.
