The President of Turkmenistan met with members of the delegation of the United Arab Emirates

On November 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazroui and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Soltan Ahmed Al-Jaber.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the Head of state for the opportunity to meet, the guests conveyed warm greetings and best wishes for the prosperity of Turkmenistan from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As noted, the UAE attaches great importance to the expansion of bilateral relations based on the principles of mutual benefit and friendship.

Thanking for the kind words and returning warm greetings and best wishes to the head of the fraternal country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the further development and strengthening of multilateral cooperation. At the same time, it was stated that at the present stage, the Turkmen-Emirati partnership includes such areas as the political and diplomatic sphere, trade and economic relations, the fuel and energy complex, the transport and communication sector and the construction of social facilities.

During the meeting, it was noted that the positions of the two countries coincide in positively addressing issues of maintaining peace and security and ensuring sustainable development. As it was emphasized, this serves as a solid foundation for cooperation within the framework of reputable international structures, primarily the United Nations.

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that the United Arab Emirates is one of the important trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan. A clear confirmation of this is the annual growth of bilateral trade.

In the continuation, it was stated that the fuel and energy potential and the favorable geographical location of the two countries create wide opportunities for the effective expansion of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation.

Noting that a number of projects have been implemented in our country with the participation of leading companies, including financial and investment structures of the UAE, the head of state confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to intensify cooperation with ADNOC.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazroui and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Soltan Ahmed Al Jaber good health, well-being, and success in responsible work.
