The National Leader of the Turkmen people had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States

On November 25, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yildirim.

The interlocutors exchanged cordial greetings and noted with satisfaction that fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey are currently being filled with new content.

The Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, taking advantage of the opportunity, invited the Hero Arkadag to take part in the 16th meeting of the Council of Elders, which will be held in the near future in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, as a member of the Council, as well as an honorary guest, and conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Thanking for the invitation, the Arkadag Hero addressed best wishes to the head of the fraternal country from himself and from Arkadagla Hero Serdar.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag noted with satisfaction that the Republic of Turkey is one of the closest friendly states for Turkmenistan, and Turkmen-Turkish relations, gaining new content, are developing at a high level.

As it was emphasized during the conversation, strengthening fruitful bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Turkic states has an important place in the foreign policy of our country.

Currently, Turkmenistan takes an active and active part in the work of the Organization of Turkic States, including the Council of Elders of the OTG. In this regard, it was noted that the 15th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States was held at a high level in Ashgabat in March this year.

– Holding such a prestigious event in our country testifies, on the one hand, to Turkmenistan's desire for close cooperation with the Turkic countries, and on the other hand, to the great trust shown to us and our reliability, – said Hero-Arkadag, expressing confidence that the issues discussed and the decisions taken during the meeting will contribute to further the work of not only the Council of Elders, but also the Organization of Turkic States.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, confirmed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at developing and strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, as well as the Organization of Turkic States, and, taking the opportunity, invited Binali Yildirim to take part in the solemn events to be held in Ashgabat on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality on December 12 this year.

At the end of the telephone conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yildirim exchanged wishes of good health, happiness, and peace, prosperity and well–being to the fraternal peoples of the two countries.
