“The Art of Music” – a textbook for Colleges of Musical Arts

Music is one of our national values. Rather, it is a spiritual wealth inherited from our ancestors. Therefore, it is our duty and our goal to pass on the classical wealth to our future generations. As we know from history, the Turkmen people are a royal nation with great respect for music. Proceeding from this aspect, it is necessary to scientifically study information about our state anthems, musical instruments, life and creativity of our musicians. Countless noble works are being realised in this field in our country to further enrich the educational load of musical art for our youth. That is why textbooks on this art form are simply needed in practice.

The textbook is intended for students studying musical art at the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, as well as specialists working in the sphere of music, culture and art. The book summarises information on subtle secrets of musical art, national songs of the Turkmen people, types of musical instruments, history of their origin.
