The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, accepted credential from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece

On December 3, 2024, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, D.Gulmanova, accepted credential from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece, Mrs. Ekaterini Hagorari.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis congratulated the Ambassador on behalf of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on her appointment to the high diplomatic post. She also wished her success in her work aimed at strengthening friendly relations and effective intergovernmental dialogue, which are successfully developing on both bilateral and multilateral bases. The Ambassador noted that it is a great honor for her to represent her country in Turkmenistan.
The diplomat attentively listened to the information on the main directions of the internal and foreign policies of independent and neutral Turkmenistan, as well as the activities of the national Parliament.
During the meeting, wide opportunities for exchanging experience in improving national legislation and parliamentary activities, possibilities of cooperation between the two countries, and strengthening friendly relations between peoples were noted.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Greece to Turkmenistan Mrs. Ekaterini Hagorari,assured that she would make every effort to develop friendly relations between the two countries.
