On December 3, 2024, a meeting with the delegation of the Italian Republic, headed by Ambassador Federico Failla of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The agenda focused on discussing the draft Action Plan for establishing multilateral cooperation networks between the countries of Central Asia and Italy.
The development of this project was agreed upon by the foreign ministers during the Third Ministerial Conference of the “Central Asia – Italy” format, held on May 29 of this year in Rome.
The participants noted that the document will cover cooperation in key areas such as energy, transport, agriculture and water management, education, healthcare, and other sectors.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further deepen their mutually beneficial partnership.
