Organized by the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, as part of the Year “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi ” and in honor of International Neutrality Day, on December 6, 2024, an educational and methodological seminar was held for students studying in various fields of journalism at higher education institutions across the country. The aim of the seminar was to improve professional training, exchange views on advanced international practices in this field, and study the experiences of the creative teams of the electronic newspapers “Turkmen University”, “Voice of the Young Diplomat”, and “Student Sports” of Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. The event was held under the title “The Voice of Neutrality Sounds High, the Glory of Our Homeland in the Words of Youth.”
The seminar was attended by students, faculty, and representatives of mass media, studying journalism at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
Inspired by the wise words of our Hero Arkadag: “For journalists, the only way to improve their work is to raise their demands on themselves and follow the demands of the time,” the event aimed to guide students towards professionalism, increase their level of knowledge, and, inspired by the words of Hero Arkadagly Serdar: “We see the youth as builders of the future of our country,” the seminar, held with the participation of journalists, played an important role in the exchange of experience. The participants expressed their gratitude to our National Leader, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, and Hero Arkadagly Serdar.
