Methods are being improved

During the Revival of a New Era of Powerful State, the rapid development of education, science, equipment and technology, the widespread implementation of highly effective innovative teaching technologies into educational and upbringing activities put forward the improvement of the teaching methodology of general education programs, the improvement of the quality of education provided to the younger generation and the permanent enrichment of its content as important tasks. The modern conditions of society's development require large-scale systemic reforms in teaching, training of pedagogical staff and their professional development, and permanent improvement of the educational system, teaching methodologies in general education programs by using effective means of digital technologies based on the world's best practices.

As in all spheres of the country’s life, special attention is paid to professional development in the system of education. The opening of professional development centers for teachers of state general education institutions and educators of pre-school institutions near Ashgabat city and velayat General directorates of education is a clear evidence of it.

Based on the clearly targeted activities implemented in the professional development of pedagogical staff, a number of activities on the modern organization of educational and upbringing activities are being carried out, practical trainings and consultations are held regularly in the professional development center for teachers of state general education institutions and educators of pre-school institutions in the Department of General directorates of education of the Balkan velayat. Currently, 8597 pedagogic workers from the educational institutions of the velayat participated in the practical trainings held at the training center in the Department of General directorates of education of the Balkan velayat and improved their professional level. (From 2014 to 2024). The centers conduct organizational and methodological activities during methodological trainings for the purpose of organizing full-fledged work on providing and improving the quality of modern education and upbringing to the younger generation in accordance with the curriculum in state general education institutions; training teaching staff in computer technologies and multimedia interactive devices and use them in lessons; acquisition of new skills and abilities by teachers and educators in the process of their training.

Also, special attention is paid for conducting various competitions and technical consultations with the pedagogical staff of the Professional Development Center. Competitions such as "Best prepared presentation", "Master of test", "Best prepared translation book", "The best prepared electronic dictionary", "Historical events calendar", "The best prepared electronic wallpaper", "Perfect methodology - the essence of perfect education", "Wisdom space" are holding in order to implement the tasks arising from the "Concept of developing the digital education system in Turkmenistan", "The concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages in Turkmenistan", "The concept of improving the teaching of subjects related to natural and exact fields in Turkmenistan", "The State program for the development of social and humanitarian sciences in Turkmenistan", " Concept of improvement the methodology of teaching in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028".
