The legal status of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, recognized twice by the United Nations, is a profound value of our people and a doctrine advocating a peaceful life, friendship, brotherhood among nations, humanitarianism, and mutually beneficial cooperation. Guided by these principles, our country continues to develop partnerships with interested states and respected international organizations based on the fundamental tenets of its permanent neutrality, recognized by the global community and enshrined in the Constitution of Turkmenistan.
This commitment is clearly demonstrated by a new qualitative level of collaboration with UN specialized agencies such as UNDP, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNICEF, and WHO.
Turkmenistan is also making every effort to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals while paying special attention to cooperation in areas such as energy security, sustainable transport, climate change, and other key sectors. The initiatives of our country in these fields are widely supported by the international community.
On the eve of the International Day of Neutrality, the capital hosted an international conference titled "Joint Actions for Strengthening International Peace and Sustainable Development," where priority areas for international cooperation and active utilization of tools for enhancing global peace and security were discussed. The position of our country in this regard received high praise.
The forum's timing, preceding a year marked by significant anniversaries and decisions—such as the 80th anniversary of the United Nations' establishment, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, and the UN's proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust—gave it special significance.
Advancing key initiatives on the global stage, Turkmenistan strives to align them with the interests of the international community. A defining feature and philosophy of Turkmenistan's foreign policy is the unification of interests and continuous joint activities.
Our nation continues to promote the principle of "Dialogue is the Guarantee of Peace" in intergovernmental relations and diplomacy. The culture of dialogue, mutual respect, and readiness for relations based on the principles of equality are among the main conditions for ensuring peace and sustainable development today.

Alongside promoting peaceful, friendly, and mutually beneficial cooperation globally, we are successfully implementing large-scale reforms for the welfare and happiness of our people.
