As part of a working visit to Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chair of the Student Sports Club of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, S. Gurdov, and the Specialist of the Science Department, B. Ovezov, familiarized themselves with the educational, sports, and scientific activities of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, as well as its Sports Research Center.
The Chair of the Student Sports Club of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and the Secretary-General of the National Student Sports Federation of Turkmenistan, S. Gurdov, had a discussion with the Vice-Rector for Sports and Educational Work of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor M. Eskaliyev. The discussion covered the specifics of organizing sports lessons, modern methods for enhancing students’ physical activity in university sports clubs, and approaches to improving the methodology for teaching physical education and sports disciplines in higher educational institutions. During the meeting, advanced practices of organizing physical education and sports lessons in universities, members of the International Association of Universities of Physical Culture and Sports, were shared. The central topic of the meeting was also the discussion of a draft Cooperation Agreement between the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
The Specialist of the Science Department, B. Ovezov, during his introduction to the Sports Research Center, exchanged views with professors, experts, and students on joint experience-sharing and implementation of new projects. Joint scientific research in the field of sports will enable effective use of innovative technologies and their application in practice. It was emphasized that scientific cooperation would provide broad opportunities for experience-sharing at both national and international levels. Additionally, a proposal was made to develop a draft plan of activities to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation and prepare joint scientific articles for publication in internationally indexed journals.
The working visit of representatives of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports to the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism proved to be productive.
