A creative meeting was held with the Hero of Turkmenistan, Saragt Babaýew

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, during the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, our glorious history, outstanding personalities, and national heritage are being comprehensively studied.

In this regard, during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on September 24, in the year declared as “The Ocean of Wisdom – Magtymguly Pyragy,” Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings with prominent scholars, cultural and art figures of our country to discuss their exemplary paths, the national schools they have established, and their significant role in strengthening the foundations of the state and educating the younger generation. This initiative has received wide public support.

At the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, a creative meeting was held under the title “The Master Whose Destiny Became Art” with the participation of professors and students, featuring Saragt Babaýew, Hero of Turkmenistan, a lecturer at the Sculpture Department of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan, laureate of the international prize named after Magtymguly, honorary elder of Turkmenistan, and recipient of the jubilee medal “300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy.”

Participants of the creative meeting viewed an exhibition in the foyer of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, showcasing the life and work of Saragt Babaýew, Hero of Turkmenistan and master sculptor. Following this, a video presenting the life and career of Saragt Babaýew and a recital of the poem “Sculptor” by a university student left a strong impression on the attendees.

During the creative meeting, Hero of Turkmenistan and master sculptor Saragt Babaýew proudly noted that, thanks to the efforts of Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President, great respect is accorded to workers at the state level in our prosperous Homeland. The master sculptor emphasized that by embodying the glorious history, outstanding personalities, and spiritual and cultural values of the Turkmen people in his sculptures, he expresses his love for Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the Homeland, and the people.

At the meeting, the song “Our Arkadagly Hero Serdar,” praising the glorious deeds of the Esteemed President, who is leading our country to new heights of development, was performed.

At the end of the meeting, participants expressed gratitude and words of appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for the opportunities created to study our glorious history, outstanding personalities, and national heritage.
