The Science of Art

Recently, the library of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva organized a book exhibition and presentation event titled “The Science of Art.” The exhibition showcased books authored by the conservatory’s faculty on various aspects of musical art, sparking great interest among students.

The President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, aptly notes: “The cultural sphere plays a special role in enhancing the creative potential of our Homeland. Culture and art are the spiritual wealth of the people. Culture and art are essential tools for preserving the spiritual values of the nation, promoting them worldwide, and nurturing young talents.”

During the event, the following books by faculty members of the Turkmen National Conservatory were introduced: R. Amangeldiyev — “Sonata Form in the Instrumental Works of Turkmen Composers”, M. Gapurov — “Works for Ensembles of Folk Musical Instruments”, S. Nuryyeva — “Collection of Works for Piano”, H. Muhammetgulyev — “Collection of Works for Accordion”, M. Gurbanov and L. Nasyrov — co-authored “Guitar”, S. Tuyliyev — “Theory of Turkmen Music”, E. Osipova and R. Muhammedov — co-authored “Theory of Turkmen Music”.

The authors provided brief introductions to their works and engaged in discussions with students who had questions about the new publications. These books will serve as valuable guides for young students and contribute significantly to the development of Turkmen culture and art.

At the end of the event, participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Arkadag Hero and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the comprehensive opportunities provided for the growth of culture and art.
