Award Ceremony for the Winners of the State Competition in Academic Disciplines Among University Students

27,12,2024 today, in the Grand Assembly Hall of the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, a ceremony was held to honor the students who secured prizes in the State Competition in Academic Disciplines among university students. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization from December 19 to 21, 2024, as part of the “Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi” Year.

During the Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State, under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, special attention is given to improving the quality of education and training highly qualified specialists.

The State Competition, aimed at developing students’ independent work skills, ensuring high-quality training of professionals, and encouraging talented youth, played a significant role in revealing the creative potential of students. Young people working and studying in all fields are provided with opportunities to showcase their talents, expand their experience, and enhance their professional skills.

The State Competition among university students was conducted in academic disciplines such as Turkmenistan’s history, Turkmen language, Russian language, English language, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, modern computer technology, engineering graphics, theoretical mechanics, material resistance, and ecology. As a result of the competition, university students secured 88 first places, 181 second places, and 223 third places.

In the era of advanced innovations, ensuring that young people deeply master the basics of modern technologies, digital electronic tools, and language proficiency is crucial. This serves as a significant impetus for students to grow into highly skilled professionals in their chosen fields.

Youth policy, pursued by the state, plays a vital role in enabling young people to occupy a worthy place in society, participate actively in public events, and improve their skills in their chosen professions. The country’s future is inextricably linked to this policy. Under the leadership of the esteemed President, initiatives such as supporting young researchers, establishing scientific circles and councils within research institutions, enhancing computer and language literacy, and encouraging the application of acquired knowledge in the education system, as well as providing social support and fostering entrepreneurship among youth, are widely implemented. All these measures inspire young people to achieve new heights.

Participants of the ceremony expressed their gratitude to the esteemed President for providing broad opportunities for education and mastering chosen professions. They also wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the Head of State, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, robust health, long and bright lives, and success in their noble endeavors for the benefit of the nation.
