In Turkmenistan was discussed the implementation of projects ensuring inclusivity

On January 9, 2025, a meeting took place between the project manager of "Expanding Economic Opportunities for Women and Youth Living in the Mary Region", Candidate of Economic Sciences Serdar Agayev, and the project manager of "Sign Language Training in the Balkan Region", head of the "Yash Yardamchy" Economic Society, Jemal Kurbanova.

They discussed issues related to studying successful project implementation practices, as well as prospects for developing women's and youth entrepreneurship in the country's regions. Significant attention was paid to inclusivity, taking into account the needs and involvement of people with disabilities in these projects.

As emphasized by Serdar Agayev, the initiative to expand economic opportunities for women and youth includes tasks aimed at effectively fulfilling the goals outlined in the Program "Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State: National Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052."

The project envisages conducting seminars dedicated to creating one's own business, developing communication strategies, and developing leadership skills among young people. Jemal Kurbanova presented the specifics of the "Sign Language Training in the Balkan Region" project, which provides training in the basics of sign language for civil servants and representatives of social services. This is necessary to ensure effective interaction with people with hearing impairments. The training offered by the project aims to provide practical skills necessary for effective communication with people with hearing impairments.

During the discussions held by representatives of the two projects, the importance of continuous interaction with government agencies and local public organizations was noted, as well as the continuation of meetings to exchange practical knowledge for successful project implementation.

It should be noted that both projects offer free participation in seminars. This makes them accessible to a wide range of people interested in expanding their professional skills and knowledge on the topics offered within the projects.

The projects "Expanding Economic Opportunities for Women and Youth Living in the Mary Region" and "Sign Language Training in the Balkan Region" are implemented within the framework of the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan's grant program.
