In 2025, numerous buildings and facilities will be opened and put into operation in our country

On January 10, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting via a digital system, where various issues concerning the country's vital activities were discussed.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annammammedov reported on the results of work related to the preparation of a construction plan for facilities to be commissioned in the capital and regions in 2025, which is held under the motto “International Year of Peace and Trust.”

As noted, thanks to the great initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and the wise policies implemented by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, one of the noble traditions has been the annual approval of a list of buildings and structures planned to be inaugurated as part of programs aimed at further prospering the country and improving the living standards of our people.

Currently, in accordance with the relevant documents of the President of Turkmenistan and the adopted National and State Programs, the construction of major industrial and social facilities is ongoing.

It was reported that the administrations of the regions and the city of Ashgabat, in collaboration with relevant ministries, sectoral departments, and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, have prepared a list of major production and social facilities planned for commissioning in 2025.

Among them are new modern villages and settlements envisioned by the “National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Transforming the Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Settlements, Cities of Districts, and District Centers for the Period up to 2028.”

Additionally, the opening of large multifunctional facilities in Ashgabat and the regions is planned as part of the implementation of the President of Turkmenistan’s Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028, and in line with the adopted Resolutions.

In this regard, a relevant proposal was submitted for the consideration of the head of state.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that during the International Year of Peace and Trust, numerous socio-cultural facilities are planned to be inaugurated in the country.

In this context, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Premier to keep the construction progress and timely commissioning of the buildings and facilities planned for this year under strict control.
