Drafts of several laws are being developed to improve civil-law relations

On January 10, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting via a digital system, during which various issues concerning the country's vital activities were discussed.

The first to speak was the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, D. Gulmanova, who informed about the work of the National Parliament aimed at further improving the legislative and legal framework of the Homeland in line with the requirements of the time.

Currently, in line with the tasks set by the head of state and based on the provisions of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and universally recognized norms of international law, work is underway on the draft of a new edition of the Civil Code of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Unified State Voter Register."

Additionally, to regulate issues related to the protection of human and citizen rights and freedoms, the improvement of the judiciary, and the rules of administrative procedures, it is planned to introduce relevant amendments and additions to several existing codes and other legislative acts.

After hearing the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of continuing the development of laws that meet modern requirements.
