As part of the “Study of the United States Institutes” (SUSI) educational program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, 78 young women who graduated from the Young Women Leaders Program gathered at the Global Leaders Forum (GLOW), held in Prague, Czech Republic, from January 5 to 9.
The GLOW forum, organized by the Global Leadership Consortium and supported by the U.S. Department of State, brought together program graduates from the past three years, creating a unique environment for interaction and collaboration among participants. From Turkmenistan, the forum was attended by Chynar Garlyyeva, a second-year student of the Faculty of Cyber-Physical Systems at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University.
The forum aimed to equip future leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully implement meaningful community-based projects. Through interactive sessions, mentorship, and peer learning, participants enhanced their project development skills, broadened their perspectives, and built a strong support network.
The projects showcased at the forum covered a wide range of topics, from environmental sustainability to improving education and increasing professional opportunities for women. These initiatives reflected the innovative spirit and dedication of the young women. The GLOW forum served as an important platform not only for advancing their projects but also for building connections and forging strong relationships with like-minded individuals.
This gathering in Prague highlighted the importance of women’s leadership and served as a significant event for young women working towards a brighter future for their communities and the world.
