A Musical and Educational Event “The Poetic World of Magtymguly Pyragy — the High Voice of Peace” Held

Today, January 13, a musical and educational event titled “The Poetic World of Magtymguly Pyragy — the High Voice of Peace” was held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, dedicated to the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The event featured speeches by professors, lecturers, and students of the university, emphasizing that Magtymguly, with his invaluable reflections on peace, morality, humanity, beauty, and love, enriched and enhanced the content of Turkmen literature and philosophy.

University students presented a literary and musical composition titled “Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Peace and Trust” and performed songs based on the poet’s verses. Additionally, vocalists from the university’s cultural center, “Melodies of Happiness,” performed songs titled “Glory to You, Our Arkadag-Hero!” and “International Year of Peace and Trust.”

The event also included a ceremony where membership certificates of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan were awarded to participating lecturers and students.

Alongside the musical and educational program, an exhibition was organized showcasing the books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the esteemed President, as well as works by university professors, monographs, and educational materials related to the study of Magtymguly’s literary heritage. Student projects reflecting the socio-economic development of the country were also displayed.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and Arkadag-Hero Serdar for guiding the country toward new heights of development.
