Hero-Arkadag Embarks on an Official Visit to the Principality of Monaco

On January 19, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, departed for an official visit to the Principality of Monaco.

At the capital’s international airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, interacted with representatives of the country’s media.

Hero-Arkadag stated that he was departing on a visit to the Principality of Monaco, which is globally recognized for its achievements in sports, among other fields. Monaco has been declared the "Sports Capital of the World 2025." Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, this year has been declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust" in Turkmenistan. In this context, the National Leader emphasized the important role of sports in promoting peace and trust worldwide.

Continuing his remarks, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty quoted Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games in 1894: “Oh Sport! You are Peace!” This expression symbolizes peace, creativity, development, joy, a healthy lifestyle, and the drive for victory, serving as an inspiration to all.

Hero-Arkadag also noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco. This visit will serve as a significant step in enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various spheres.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People highlighted the importance of media coverage of the partnership with Monaco and issued relevant instructions to media representatives in this regard.

Subsequently, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, departed for the Principality of Monaco, accompanied by official representatives.

It should be noted that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan's peace-oriented foreign policy strategy, initiated by Hero-Arkadag, is being successfully implemented. This strategy underscores a commitment to constructive international dialogue based on mutual respect and equality. The current visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty to Monaco exemplifies this commitment.

The long-term bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and European countries is multifaceted, encompassing political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian areas. Political and diplomatic interactions are steadily developing both bilaterally and multilaterally within the framework of reputable international organizations and institutions.

Cultural and humanitarian relations are also integral to the partnership between Turkmenistan and European countries. This is evidenced by reciprocal delegations, regular cultural days, exhibitions, and other events.

The current visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to the Principality of Monaco will mark a new chapter in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
