In accordance with the national and international programs and humanitarian foreign policy of our Esteemed President, professional development training for English language teachers was launched at the Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages within the framework of the British Council's AELLCA project.
On January 14, 2025, 14 English teachers from the institute began TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) course under the guidance of Ste Sharp, an experienced lecturer from Nottingham Trent University, Great Britain. This course is an important step in improving the quality of English language teaching in our country and will continue until mid-March. The project aims to continuously improve teachers' foreign language teaching methodologies, classroom management and language skills, taking into account the modern needs of students in learning.
Teachers who successfully complete the course will be awarded a Nottingham Trent University Certificate and will have the opportunity to participate in the internationally recognised TKT (Teaching Skills Text) exam. This Certificate will enhance teachers' professional skills and open up new opportunities for them locally and internationally.
This cooperation between the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Nottingham Trent University, Great Britain, within the framework of the British Council's AELLCA project, is a testament to the strong commitment to the work being carried out under the humanitarian initiatives of our Hero Arkadag and the leadership of our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar to bring the scientific and educational system of our Motherland to the most advanced level in the world, and to the enormous opportunities being created.
