Since the first days of the “International Year of Peace and Trust”, positive principles have been implemented in all systems at a rapid pace in the country. Much work is being done in the direction of providing modern education to the young generation of the country and strengthening the foundation of the education provided to them. Recently, on February 7, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction institute and Kent State University jointly organized an online conference on the topic “Designing for Density: A Conversation on Accessory Dwelling Units”. The meeting was attended by specialists from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction institute and professor-teachers, students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. During the conference, Patrick Hewitt and Rachel Novak from the Chuyahoga County Planning Department, Eric Zumft, Director of Planning and Development for the City of Cleveland Heights, and Tommy Chesnes, Senior Architect at Onyx Creative, shared their experiences in the field of architecture, construction and design.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction institute and Kent State University (USA).
The topics discussed during the conference concern the efficient use of land in urban planning, proper housing planning, the impact of population, social and economic problems on urban planning, and solving environmental problems. The presentation of these problems and their solutions in various presentations aroused great interest. The speakers noted that various competitions are announced in order to develop urban development in the country, and the winners of the competitions and implemented projects are actively published in the media. They noted that the public has an excellent opportunity to make proposals and conduct an economic analysis of the projects submitted to the competition. This affects the effectiveness of youth projects. This consultation will provide ample opportunities for accumulating mutual experience and implementing projects that fully meet the needs of the population, implementing economic and environmentally friendly ideas, and studying world languages. Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our gratitude to our National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunity to cooperate with prestigious higher education institutions recognized at the global level.
