Twice Recognized Neutrality of Turkmenistan by the United Nations General Assembly

On February 19, 2025, declared the "International year of peace and trust", teachers of the Yagshigeldy Kakayev International Oil and Gas University together with the “Altyn Asyr” Turkmenistan TV channel prepared and presented to viewers an interview on the topic "Double Recognition of Turkmen Neutrality by the United Nations General Assembly". The discussion was attended by University Professor N. Suvkhanov, University teachers M.Kullayeva and G.Meredov. The discussion was moderated by Senior Lecturer of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University Jemal Sapargulyeva.

The speakers explained in detail the meaning of the slogan and symbol of the year, which inspire our people to great deeds and new achievements during the Revival of the new era of the Sovereign State. They noted the worldwide recognition of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the continuing progress of our country's long-term and fruitful cooperation with the United Nations, the largest international organization.

The peacekeeping principles of Turkmen neutrality are its main feature. Turkmenistan has great potential for expanding and strengthening relations with countries of the world, enriching cooperation with new meaning and content. The motto of the year plays an important role in celebrating the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality and inspiring our people to make a worthy contribution to the achievements carried out in the country.
