A meeting was held with the Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Gansu Province, People's Republic of China

On February 25, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Gansu Province of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Jun.

As part of an interested exchange of views, the parties noted with satisfaction that the Turkmen-Chinese relations of comprehensive strategic partnership are currently developing dynamically. The interlocutors focused special attention on the importance of contacts in the humanitarian and cultural sphere as an integral factor contributing to the rapprochement of peoples.

As emphasized, in recent years, the number of exchanges of folklore, musical groups, delegations of artists has increased. Scientific and cultural figures of both countries actively participate in international conferences, exhibitions and other events. Mutual Days of Culture provide a special incentive for further expansion of humanitarian ties, enriching bilateral relations with new content.

During the negotiations, prospects for expanding scientific, educational, cultural contacts, as well as promoting youth cooperation were discussed.
