As part of the Turkmen delegation, students from Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan competed in the 5th International Youth Science Fair (YISF). Specifically, under the guidance of university teacher Atamyrat Altyev, 3rd-year student Süleymanmuhammet Shamuhamedov and 2nd-year student Aymyrat Halnazarov represented Turkmenistan at the 5th International Youth Science Fair (YISF) in Malang, Indonesia. Their research, focused on the scientific basis for producing green cement from industrial waste, yielded remarkable results:
The Youth International Science Fair (YISF) competition featured 446 teams from 24 countries, competing across five fields: social sciences, environment, life sciences, innovative sciences, and engineering.
Organized by the Association of Young Scientists of Indonesia, this international competition fosters discussions on future innovations and showcases the achievements of scientists and engineers shaping the future of science and technology. The international competition provided a valuable platform for participants to showcase their scientific work, foster international collaborations, and strengthen cooperation in education and innovation.
Participants from a wide array of countries, including those in Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan), Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran), Europe (Austria, Romania, Turkey), and the Americas (United States, Mexico, Brazil), presented innovative scientific works aimed at solving global problems such as sustainable development, environmental protection and the development of new technologies.
