Another success

In the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, new pages are constantly being written into the history of Turkmen sports with new successes. Currently, Turkmenistan is known as a country with a developed sports system, capable of participating in world-class competitions and taking prestigious places. Currently, Turkmen sport is experiencing rapid development.

In 2025, which is declared the “International year of peace and trust”, one of the main directions of the policy pursued by our Esteemed Arkadagly Hero Serdar is the development of sports and physical culture in our country.

The achievements of our athletes, who glorify our homeland with their successes achieved thanks to the excellent conditions and opportunities created by our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, make each of us proud. It is worth noting that this is also shared by young people studying at our higher education institution - the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.

From February 23 to 27, 2025, the Ashgabat Multifunctional Sports Complex hosted the Open Kickboxing Championship of Turkmenistan. In these competitions, 4th-year student of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity of our university Rakhmanov Aymyrat successfully performed in the 63,5 kg weight category, and 1st-year student Mammedov Begler in the 60 kg weight category and won the title of champions of Turkmenistan.
