A solemn meeting was held dedicated to International Women's Day

Yesterday, a solemn meeting titled “Ösüşlere beslenen täze döwrüň buýsançly zenanlary” took place at the Center of Public Organizations in the capital in connection with International Women’s Day. The event, jointly organized by the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, political parties, the Central Council of the Women’s Union, and public organizations, was accompanied by inspiring musical and vocal performances.

During the meeting, it was noted that women are currently working effectively across all sectors of the national economy, making a worthy contribution to the development of the state. Issues related to the comprehensive education of girls, their mastery of professions, and the guarantee of their rights in the independent, permanently neutral Homeland constitute one of the priority directions of the state policy being implemented under the wise leadership of the esteemed President.

As emphasized, the organization of events aimed at elevating the status of women, honoring their labor, creativity, and noble deeds inspires all the girls and women of the country to achieve great victories and new labor successes. Thanks to the conditions created, today the women of Turkmenistan diligently work in the fields of science and education, culture, entrepreneurship, as well as various areas of the economy and social life, effectively applying their intellect and creative abilities. It is worth noting that in recent years, there has been an increasing number of girls actively participating in international forums, competitions, and sports events across various fields, achieving high results. This vividly demonstrates that all necessary opportunities have been created in our country for girls to unlock their talents and realize their potential.

During the event, the musical and vocal performances that resounded praised the honor, beauty, and noble labor of women. Speeches celebrating the happy era in which the status of women is highly revered formed the core content of the solemn meeting. The women who spoke expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hero - Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating all the necessary conditions for effective labor, engagement in artistic creativity, and the creation of new works of art. They also assured that they would utilize the opportunities provided to make a worthy contribution to strengthening the national economy and the prosperity of the country, sparing no effort.

As noted, thanks to the initiative of Hero - Arkadag, the honorary title “Ene mähri” was established in 2008, awarded to mothers who have given birth to and raised eight or more children. This serves as a clear testament to the state’s special attention and care for large families. Women who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the sovereignty and permanent neutrality status of our country, the unity and integrity of Turkmen society and every family, as well as the preservation of the spiritual origins and traditions of the Turkmen people, are awarded the Turkmenistan Order “Zenan kalby,” which highly recognizes their labor.

It was highlighted during the meeting that, on the eve of International Women’s Day, the presentation of monetary gifts on behalf of the esteemed President to women and girls working in institutions and enterprises, mothers on well-deserved retirement, female students and schoolgirls, as well as young girls in kindergartens across the country has become a noble tradition. These days, relevant solemn events are being held, for which heartfelt words of gratitude were expressed to Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
