Turkmen-Armenian cooperation in the Education, Science, Culture and Sports was discussed

On March 12, 2025, a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Artur Martirosyan was held.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, and sports agendas were discussed.

The parties touched upon issues of mutual participation of university professors in international seminars and conferences, as well as the participation of students and schoolchildren of the two countries in thematic Olympiads.

Ambassador M. Ayazov informed that the motto of this year in Turkmenistan “International Year of Peace and Trust” and that various events under this motto are held all around the world, and in this context, the parties discussed issues of holding joint cultural events both in Turkmenistan and Armenia.

At the same time, Ambassador told his interlocutor that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of youth. The national youth policy is being improved and the involvement of young people in various activities of the country is growing every year. M. Ayazov mentioned that the youth of Turkmenistan is currently making an active contribution to the sustainable and rapid development of the country, strengthening the national economy and improving the living conditions of the people, and the successful implementation of the state program.
