A briefing dedicated to the outcomes of the international conference “International Year of Peace and Trust: The Role of Interregional Economic Cooperation in Ensuring Sustainable Development”

A briefing was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development dedicated to the outcomes of the international conference “International Year of Peace and Trust: The Role of Interregional Economic Cooperation in Ensuring Sustainable Development” held in Ashgabat recently. The briefing was conducted by lectures of the Department of International Relations, Social Sciences and Journalism A.Charyev, G. Pirmuhamedova, S.Charyeva. The relevant briefing was attended by students specializing in such majors as international relations, international law, economics, sociology and journalism.

The lecturers who spoke to the student audience emphasized the importance of the forum for ensuring economic stability in the Central and South Asian region, the effective implementation of energy, transport and infrastructure projects, as well as for increasing the investment potential in the relevant areas. Of course, it was noted that the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag gave special solemnity and significance to the event. During the briefing, it was also noted that organized in the International Year of Peace and Trust and dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, special attention was paid to the role of interregional economic cooperation in ensuring sustainable development.

At the end of the briefing, the participants of the event expressed their deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for strengthening the role of our Fatherland in the international arena and wished Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health and success in all their endeavors for the sake of stability and prosperity.
