Teaching staff from the International University for the Humanities and Development are on a working visit to the University “1 Decembrie 1918” Alba Iulia within the Erasmus+ program. The visit is taking place from March 24 to 28, 2025. The main purpose of the visit is to undergo short-term training in relevant areas of expertise.
On the first day of the visit, during meetings with their Romanian colleagues, Turkmen lecturers exchanged experiences in developing online courses and using technology in managing educational processes. The parties paid special attention to discussing the prospects for long-term cooperation based on the existing Memorandum of Cooperation between the International University for Humanities and Development and the University “1 Decembrie 1918” Alba Iulia, in particular the establishment of the Double Degree program and postgraduate studies. As is known, the International University for the Humanities and Development has been successfully cooperating with the Romanian university for many years. The two prestigious universities carry out their cooperation within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for Humanities and Development and the University “1 Decembrie 1918” Alba Iulia. The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint research projects, educational programs, student exchanges and other areas of cooperation. Both universities have been developing cooperation since 2018, during which time they have implemented a number of joint projects, including the exchange of teaching staff in the areas of international law and computer technology, in the field of joint scientific research.
It is expected that upon completion of the visit, the lecturers of the International University for Humanities and Development will get acquainted with the experience of one of the leading universities in Romania in the field of building and improving curricula, scientific research in relevant areas.
Cooperation between the International University for Humanities and Development and the University “1 Decembrie 1918” Alba Iuilia is a striking example of successful integration into the global educational space. Joint projects contribute to improving the quality of education and strengthening scientific and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Romania.
