The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on the announcement of a competition for the award "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry"

​In order to identify talented creative workers who, through highly artistic works, glorify the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, a benevolent domestic and foreign policy implemented in accordance with the status of permanent neutrality, the historical transformations of their native country, confidently moving forward with the swiftness of a steed, the prosperous life of our happy people, glorious history, beautiful nature, national principles, contributing great contribution to the development of Turkmen culture, art, literature, as well as the selection and stimulation of the most talented, the President of Turkmenistan signed a decree "On the announcement of a competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" among figures of literature, culture and art, amateur young singers and gifted children."

The decree also prescribes to ensure the participation of foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to participate in the competition. The winners of this competition will be determined according to the established nominations. Within the framework of the competition, a television competition for young amateur singers "Jaňlan, Diýarym!", a competition among the bakhshi musicians "Çalsana, bagşy!" and a competition among talented children "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri" were also announced.
