On March 27, in the era of Revival of a new epoch of the Powerful State, in the year of "International Peace and Trust", an educational and preaching meeting “Status of women in Turkmen society” was held on gender equality with the participation of the lecturers and students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, organized by the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the University's primary Women's organization

Gender equality guarantees women and men the same rights in all areas. Our country pays special attention to supporting motherhood, enhancing the status of women in the State and society and ensuring gender equality in accordance with national legislation and the universally recognised norms of international law.

The large-scale works carried out under the wise leadership of our Esteemed President in the field of gender equality and women's empowerment are another proof of the high respect for women.
