A Meeting Was Held with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On March 28, Oguljahon Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ms. Farzaneh Sadeghi Malvajerd, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Advancing International Activities for the Sake of Children," held on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the Foundation’s establishment.

Thanking the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development for accepting the invitation to participate in the large-scale international forum, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Foundation O. Atabayeva noted that cooperation between the two neighboring countries, based on bonds of friendship and brotherhood, is successfully developing in various directions.

In turn, Ms. Farzaneh Sadeghi Malvajerd expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to visit beautiful Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, it was particularly emphasized that the cultural-humanitarian sphere is one of the key areas of cooperation between the two neighboring countries, which actively engage in this field.

As highlighted, the Turkmen and Iranian peoples, united by a shared history, culture, and traditions, highly value noble principles such as humanism, moral upbringing, and providing support to those in need. In this regard, the activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov serve as evidence of the worthy continuation of these noble principles in a new historical era. In this context, attention was focused on the support and assistance aimed at ensuring the social protection of children in difficult life situations, their adaptation to society, and preparation for independent living.

During the conversation, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the neighboring country noted the significance of the Foundation’s work, carried out at national and international levels, which contributes to strengthening humanitarian cooperation in the region and the world.
