MEETING ON ENERGY ISSUES AT THE YAGSHYGELDI KAKAYEV INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS UNIVERSITY

On March 31, 2025, as part of a working visit to Turkmenistan of the delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Romania Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu, a working meeting was held with the management and specialists of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.

The rector of the university briefly introduced the guests to the structure of the higher education institution, its faculties and departments, the proposed areas of study and training, as well as the research activities of the university.

Then the floor was given to the head of the Romanian delegation Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu. He introduced the members of the delegation and spoke about the goals of the delegation's working visit to Turkmenistan, and also spoke about the readiness of Romanian higher education institutions, as well as companies, to work together in specialized areas.

Some issues of cooperation in the chemical and gas chemical industries of Turkmenistan were discussed with the Romanian side.

The Romanian delegation was given a tour of the university, during which the guests were introduced to the academic buildings, research and educational centers, laboratories and the geological museum of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.
