Educators from Turkmenistan are invited to global online English language courses - Online Professional English Network (OPEN)

The U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan announces the opening of applications for the 2025 summer session of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) global online courses.

The Online Professional English Network (OPEN) global online courses provide a unique opportunity for foreign English language educators to participate in innovative, university-level online courses. Participants should be prepared to dedicate 8-10 hours per week to their studies.

The OPEN program is administered by FHI 360 and funded by the U.S. Department of State. It offers participants access to contemporary methodological concepts and issues in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). The courses cover a wide range of topics, including the integration of critical thinking into cultural studies, the use of educational technology in the classroom, and grammar teaching methodology.

Participants can interact with U.S. English language teaching experts and build a professional network with colleagues from various countries.

Interested candidates may submit their applications until April 15th by completing the designated form.

Selection is competitive. All selected participants must complete mandatory pre-course training.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive certificates and digital badges from the U.S. Department of State.
