Sport – the Messenger of Peace

From April 1 to 8, 2025, declared the Year of “International Peace and Trust,” volleyball competitions titled “Sport – the Messenger of Peace” were held on the occasion World Health Day, in order to promote mass physical culture, sports, and the principles of a healthy lifestyle among students of higher educational institutions of our country.

In the first match of the tournament, the “Nebitci” volleyball team of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University claimed victory over “Binagar” team of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction with a score of 3–0. In the quarterfinals, the “Nebitci” team once again secured a 3–0 win, this time against the “Oguz Han” team from the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology. In the semifinals, our team defeated “Yupek Yoly” of the Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, also with a score of 3–0, advancing confidently to the final.

The final match was held between the “Nebitci” team of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and the “Talyp Sport” team of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. In this match, the “Nebitci” team again won a confident victory with a score of 3:0 and deservedly became the champion among higher educational institutions of our country.
