Organizing Committee on preparation for the 34th Anniversary of Independence was established in Turkmenistan

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on April 11, Vice-Premier B. Seyidova reported on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the celebrations and events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

As noted, our sovereign and permanently neutral Homeland has become one of the politically stable and economically strong states that supports peace and successfully follows its national development principles. Alongside the strengthening of various sectors of the economy, consistent work is being carried out to enhance the national cultural sphere, including mass media, to promote Turkmen cultural heritage globally and integrate national media into the international media space.

Reporting that comprehensive preparations are underway to mark the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s sacred independence with significant labor achievements in the International Year of Peace and Trust, the Vice-Premier presented a draft of the relevant document for the President's review.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution “On the Establishment of the Organizing Committee for the Celebrations and Events Dedicated to the 34th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence” and gave appropriate instructions to the Vice-Premier to ensure proper preparations and high-level organization of all state-level events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Homeland.
