Following the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan once again becomes an initiator of establishing a unique platform for youth cooperation where key regional challenges and opportunities are discussed, and proposals for the institutionalization of the Dialogue are advanced.
The participants will present current projects, discuss the development of a culture of peace, sustainable education, social entrepreneurship, and preparation for the next youth forum within the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), to be held in the Avaza National Tourism Zone in August, 2025.
This forum will become a practical implementation of Resolution 2250, placing emphasis on the crucial role of youth in strengthening peace, preventing conflict, and advancing inclusive development. A special attention is paid to the development of a common vision of future reforms, establishment of the regional cooperation, and development of a rotational mechanism for future meetings.
The Dialogue launched by Turkmenistan in 2023, has already proven its viability and relevance. It has turned into more than just a meeting of the active youth, it has become a new model of 21st-century diplomacy, where those shaping the future – a younger generation participate..
The forum is expected to result in an expanded youth cooperation network in Central Asia, the establishment of mechanisms of sustainable cooperation, and the development of the concrete proposals for LLDC3, along with efforts to promote the role of youth on the international stage.
The next Central Asian Youth Dialogue in New York is more than just an event –it is a demonstration of how the youth of the region is becoming a voice of peace, partnership, and progress. Turkmenistan once again stands not only as the initiator but also as a reliable driver of the ideas capable of shaping the future of the region and the world.
